Funny Face
The Funny Face Campaign was launched in Brooklyn, NY in the summer of 2014. The Love Yourself Project introduced this very inspiring campaign to further our efforts in promoting self love. The project also focuses on fostering connections between local individuals and our many neighboring communities throughout the 5 Boroughs.
Through a series of scheduled appearances at various community locations such as schools, museums, theaters, subways, bookstores, restaurants, and parks. LYP Ambassadors invite the members of the public to participate in its Funny Face Competition by asking participants of all ages to make their “funniest face” as LYP staff members creatively enhance their “funny face” featuring our sponsoring Snazaroo face painting products. Participants are then photographed. LYP will collect all funny faces for a juried competition and public exhibition. The winning three “faces” will receive a complimentary LYP T-shirt and a check in the amount of $100.00 for first prize, $50.00 for second prize and $25.00 for third prize. LYP will feature the winning faces on its Website for a month. Hashtag#LoveYourFunnyFace.
LYP’s ultimate goal, in facilitating these various local workshops, is to collect and exhibit 50 to 100 Funniest Faces which will be displayed at a local venue for guests and visitors to enjoy.
